A couple who were paid £50,000 for a video that appeared to show the singer  Amy Winehouse taking drugs have been ordered by the court  to donate the money to charity, says Sky News.

The footage, which allegedly showed the ‘Valerie’ star smoking crack cocaine from a pipe, was placed on the gossip rag, The Sun website in January 2008.

Winehouse, 25, was arrested on suspicion of posessing a “controlled substance”. She was later let go without any type of chargest being filed.

The video was sold by John Blagrove, 34, and Cara Bruton, 22. Blagrove was jailed for two years in December after admitting to drug dealing offences, while Bruton received a two-year supervision order.

Speaking at Snaresbrook Crown Court today, Judge Tudor Owen told the couple “that if the money goes to charity, that is the most just result in my opinion”.
