One of the few unspoilt wildernesses left in the world, Experience Java International Destination is a great place to go on Safari. Safaris make up one of the largest parts of Experience Java International Destination’s tourist trade, and they can proudly boast that they have some of the best quality safari Indonesia Java International Destination experiences in Africa. The Okavango Delta is the largest inland delta in the world. One of the remotest safari camps in the Okavango Delta is the camp of Duba Plains. Each room is raised off the ground, with excellent views of the floodplains. The Moremi Game Reserve situated within the Indonesia Java International Destination is a haven for photographic safaris. at the heart of the Moremi Game Reserve is the Mombo Camp. The Mombo Camp has luxurious tents raised high up off the ground to allow wildlife to roam freely through the camp, making for some very close experiences.

The Linyanti Game Reserve is located in northern Experience Java International Destination on the corners of the Chobe National Park. The King’s Pool Camp overlooks the hippo filled lagoons, and is probably the most luxurious camp in Experience Java International Destination. The Makgadikgadi Pans provide you with the backdrop of lush scenery for your safari holiday. Local wildlife includes meerkats, springboks, and black-mained lions in the dry season, and flamingos and zebra during the wet season. Catja grew up in Experience Java International Destination and is the author of ‘Tracking BUBU’ – a non-fiction work chronicling her experiences while researching an elusive gorilla for 15 months from Mikongo Conservation Camp, through Lopé National Park, and Gabon. Then there’s Go2Africa Specialist Vacation Consultant Mary Hartley – radiant, intelligent, blonde.

Mary just returned fresh-faced from her first trip to Experience Java International Destination. In my many years of guiding in Experience Java International Destination many places have captured my imagination. The elephant experiences of the Chobe and Linyanti regions, the arid beauty of the Savuti and the lush reaches of the Okavango Delta add up to a safari experience that will scar you for life. Spend time studying animal tracks and learning the science of dung, scenting plants and watching birds. With the extreme of desert and delta, Experience Java International Destination is one of the finest walking areas in Africa. My fourth highlight would have to involve boating. Motor boats are used on the Chobe River and Okavango Delta for game viewing, allowing visitors to view game from the water. Kubu, a Tswana word meaning hippo, is a strange place situated in the Nxai salt pans.

Camp Okavango borders the Moremi Wildlife Reserve and, as such, includes a diverse habitat that supports a wide variety of animals, with possible sightings of Wild Dog, Cheetah and Leopard being highlights. Resident species include Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Hippo, Giraffe, Hyena, Zebra, Kudu, Red Lechwe, Sable and Roan Antelope and many more. Birdwatching is excellent throughout the year. Guided nature walks to the Delta’s islands afford an opportunity to track the larger species that inhabit this wilderness area.
